g30ffr3yMay 19, 11:01 AMjust get a program called wiretap... play the song from your itunes... once the segment of the song you want to truncate comes on... enable the wiretap to start recording... once youve gotten what you need simply stop the recording...

wiretap will generate you an .aiff which you can move into itunes and convert to aac/mp3...

while you are recording be careful not to let the mac make any system noises since wiretap records ALL AUDIO/SOUNDS that your system makes...

it may not be the best way to do what you want, but it will do it, and do it free...

ive done this myself... theres a hidden track on one of my cd's that starts a few minutes after the last song, but not on a different track... i used wiretap to isolate each song and eliminate the dead space by creating two tracks...

Bingo. Microsoft saw another industry that was making money so they decided to jump in to try and cash in the new cow.

Considering that both Sony and Microsoft have a diverse range of products (game consoles, phones, computers, software), it's surprising that neither of them have been able to make larger strides with their respective offerings.

I've only known two people who owned a Zune. One was a Windows sysadmin (now interested in iOS development), and the other was a person who likely was trying to avoid the mainstream by NOT getting an iPod.

SR71Apr 28, 08:50 PMWell, I'm a new Mac user and have never used Safari as my main browser, however, I'm starting to like it and hate at the same time. This is where I start to ask my questions.

1.) Is it possible to search Google from the address bar in Safari like how it is in Chrome? If so, how?

2.) Is it possible to remove the Google search search bar on the top right of Safari? If so, how?

3.) What are Keychains?

4.) Is it possible to make the tabs in safari have a bigger "x" so that they're easier to close? If so, how?

5.) Is it possible to move the new tab button right next to the last currently open tab? If so, how?

I love Safari, but the one thing I REALLY hate is no searching from the address bar. Coming from Chrome, I finally realize how much I use it and I cannot switch from Chrome to Safari if this isn't possible.

And if my money is going to line someone's pockets, I'd rather it be someone who returns the favor by making my life more enjoyable rather than someone who will gouge me for a natural resource I need to transport me to the job to earn the money to pay for that natural resource, exploiting every war and rumor of war to charge me ever more for the privilege.

Sirus The VirusSep 11, 04:51 PMI was a home getting ready for school to start when the first plane hit. Then when I got to school I learned that a second plane hit the other tower. I had a feeling of mostly disbelief. Especially when I heard that the first one fell. I had a bad felling and mixed emotions for a few days. I wanted to do something about it but I couldn't. I could go into a lot more detail but that would take pages to write, I can remember almost everything I said, who I talked to, and what was going trough my head that day. I'll never forget. It's burned into my mind.

Apple Care terms and conditions are pretty much worded that way. They do not cover damage caused from an untrained person installing things into the machine.

So, if you don't damage the machine while installing the RAM, there's no problem.

To add, the RAM install is cake, so no need to worry too much about that as long as you're not careless.

I had been watching TV in the background when they had the breaking news come up about a plane crashing into one of the 2 towers. I first thought how is it possible a pilot can crash into buildings that big, especially with all the warning systems they have. But when they showed the second plane go in, I realised it must be Islamic terrorists.
